Pepper Pot Centre Staff

Director – Raj Jogia

"I hail from the South Pacific islands of Fiji and whilst not quite the same as the Caribbean, the island lifestyle is very similar."

"I have been Director of the Pepper Pot since August 2008 and I am extremely keen to see Pepper Pot not only become a vibrant Centre of Excellence in the delivery of culturally-specific, person-centred and high quality innovative care, but also for the Centre to become a model social care organization by forming collaborative relationships with other local partner organizations, especially the new Over 50s BME groups."

Finance Officer – Mr Yonas Abraha

Service Manager, Care Services – Ms Olu Coker

"I have more than 10 years of experience working with vulnerable adults, learning disability and mental health, offering support in homes and the community, managing individuals and groups. I am a qualified Health and Social Care and NVQ Assessor. At Pepper Pot, I take care of the day-to-day running and welfare of older African/Caribbean people in RBKC to enable them to live independently in their homes, using the resources in the community to meet their cultural, physical, emotional and psychological needs."

Centre Manager – TBA

Head Chef – Ms Marcia Edwards

"I started working as an Assistant Head Cook at the Pepper Pot in 2006 and became Head Chef in 2007. I was born in the UK and grew up in Finsbury Park, Islington. My parents came from Barbados and I am proud to have inherited the very best of my mum’s tasty Caribbean cooking secrets. The magic is in how you mix the Caribbean flavours and the subtleties of traditional herbs and spices. My signature dish is Caribbean stewed chicken, rice and peas, but other favourites include vegetarian dishes ranging from Macaroni Pie, curried quorn with potatoes to a melody of roast vegetables."
