We’re all going on a lovely holiday!

Outings and holidays, both in the United Kingdom and abroad, are organized by the Outreach Department and represent an essential and exciting part of the Pepper Pot’s calendar of events. These activities give Members the possibility to savour and experience new sights, sounds and smells on holiday, at home and in different cultures abroad. Members have the opportunity to enjoy a holiday with their friends from the Pepper Pot, at the reduced price of a group booking, and with support and supervision from the trip organiser.

In recent years, trips have included:

• Regular day outings around London.
• Day trips by coach to the seaside towns of Southend and Folkestone.
• A four-day ‘Tinsel and Turkey’ break at the Norton Grange resort on the Isle of Wight, which gave members an early taste of Christmas, superb hotel entertainment and excursions around the beautiful island.
• A five-day Spring holiday to stunning Snowdonia and Llandudno in North Wales.
• A Mediterranean Cruise around  Spain, France, Italy and Sardinia
• Exchange visits with the Oxford Caribbean Centre, the Calabash Centre in South London and to West Indian Self Effort (WISE) in Harlesdon, all to socialize, dine and share in activities.
